The Colonial Porter presents opaque black with ruby tints topped by its soft cushiony mousse; the nose displays obvious dark chocolate and ground coffee with a background "gamey" roasted meat note. The palate is quite luscious, complex and multilayered, with a dominant mouth-filling character of dark chocolate.
