Cheeky Monkey are back with two fresh brews!

Three Bears - A DDH Oatcream IPA 🐻
The Cheeky Monkey brewers are clearly not afraid of the haze, wholeheartedly embracing the craze with both arms in their surf break inspired series of IPAs, which now hits the turbos for turbid offering number six.

Three Bears is named after a trio of Surf Breaks in Yallingup, a little bit secret and elusive but a favourite among locals. Cheeky Monkey, also a favourite among locals, have thrown down a double dry-hopped oat cream IPA in its honour for those who like their beers thick, and particularly juicy.

Landing at a whopping 8.7 percent ABV and and 65 IBUs, Three Bears might sound like an intimidating beer, but clever brewing yields a surprisingly balanced IPA with residual sweetness and vibrant fruit salad and citrus aromatics. A large portion of oats and wheat offers up the much-lauded haze as well as a viscosity that carries resinous, tropical hop characters well after each sip is gone.

Three Bears is a worthy addition to Cheeky Monkey's haze-driven Surf Break Series and, if you like your beers ridiculously drinkable and worryingly moreish, it’ll be a worthy addition to your beer fridge. - Crafty Pint

Salty Peaches - Peach-Inspired Sour 🍑

Salty Peaches is a modern fruited Gose. With a small lactose addition, it’s not quite in the pasty sour category but it benefits from some of those elements. Kettle soured with a small addition of lactose and with Peach Puree infused toward the end of fermentation – results in a dry, clean and tart Sour Beer.

Fresh juicy peach with supporting stone fruit notes and some earthy spice from the Lactobacillus.  A light sugary note and some hints of vanilla are in the background with some soft mineral notes.

First to the palate is a nice rounded saltiness followed by a prominent refreshing acidity.  The Peach comes right through the mid palate and is fresh and tart without being overly sweet.

Some sweet malt and a light caramel notes comes through late.  There is some fullness to the mouthfeel, but the finish is dry, clean and tart. The last element in the finish is a gentle saltiness that bookends the experience nicely, and reminds you to start the process all over again with the next sip!
