"Colonial Inquest" Imperial Stout makes its return for 2020. The 4th edition in the series, the 2020 imperial stout is inspired by the Belgian Trappist style of dark beers. Flavour notes of honey, dark fruit and molasses take centre stage on the aroma and palate with the Belgian origin yeast strain adding layers of fruit and spice to the malty foundation. English grown hops finish this off with an assertive earthy bitterness that balances out the sweet malt and brandy -like alcohol warmth.
